The SIS curriculum is designed to develop the whole child. Academic knowledge remains essential, but education at SIS goes beyond the acquisition of facts.

The IB Primary Years Programme
Stanley International School intends to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and is pursuing the process towards authorization. The PYP is an international curriculum framework for children aged 3–12 that emphasises inquiry, conceptual understanding, student agency, international-mindedness and meaningful action.
Stanley International School is not currently presented as an IB World School. Intended programme delivery does not imply authorization by the International Baccalaureate Organization. Kurdish and Arabic remain important parts of students’ education and cultural identity.
